In this tutorial we go over the midi and audio functions in Ableton Live 7. We create a progressive house song (Deadmau5 style to get the most of you excited) using the Minimoog V from Arturia. The link to the trial version of the synth is provided in the link zip below.

In this tutorial we’re going through the basics of live. This is for people who know nothing about Ableton Live and want an overview of the software. We build a simple house song using a few samples.

So I made this tutorial, which should be the first one of many more, to help anybody who desires to start music to find some good ressources!
I know what it is to love some music and not knowing how to do it. I’ve spent days after days studying songs when I was a teen and I still do that when I’m in love with a song. At that time I wished I had some tutorials to teach me some basic principles, that would have saved me some precious time.
So I hope you’ll enjoy that one.
